From there, InsideTracker provides detailed results, plotting your blood biomarkers on your personalized optimal zone. The proprietary AI engine then delivers personalized, science-backed recommendations to improve suboptimal biomarkers and areas of your healthspan.

Yes, InsideTracker plans are eligible for coverage by HSA/FSA benefits under some insurance plans. It is important to check with your insurance provider to verify. It’s important to properly prepare for your blood draw. Here’s what to do:

1. Schedule your blood draw for the morning, as you should be fasted. 

2. Do not engage in strenuous exercise for 48 hours before your blood test.

3. Do not drink any alcohol for at least 24 hours before the InsideTracker blood test.

4. Do not take supplements within 24 hours of your blood draw.

5. Fast for at least 12 hours before your draw.

6. Continue medication use as recommended by your physician.

7. Drink extra water before the blood test to ensure proper hydration.

8. Bring a photo ID to any tests conducted at Quest Diagnostics.

The most popular option is to get your blood tested at a Quest Diagnostics. There are thousands of locations across the US. Find one near you. 

You can also add on a Mobile Blood Draw at checkout and we’ll send a phlebotomist right to your home or office for a quick and convenient blood draw. A mobile blood draw is recommended if there aren’t any Quest locations near you. If you are in the states New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, and Rhode Island, a Mobile Blood Draw is required.

After you get your blood drawn, we’ll take care of the rest. Once your results are ready (within 7 business days) on the InsideTracker platform, you will receive an email, text message, and/or app notification. You can review your results on either the web dashboard or the iOS and Android mobile app.

We recommend getting your blood tested every 3-6 months (or 2-4 times per year) for optimal health. How often and when you get your blood tested will depend on your personal health goals and any changes you’re making to your health routine. For example, it’s recommended that you retest your blood biomarkers about 3 months after starting to take a new supplement. Depending on your athletic training program, you may also want to retest your biomarkers after 3 months.

Yes! Here’s how you can transfer a test to someone else:

1. Purchase your plan 

2. Login to your account and click on “Orders”

3. Under Available test, click “Transfer”

4. Enter the name and email address of the person you’d like to transfer the test to and select Transfer
