About

Add-on Estradiol + Progesterone to any InsideTracker blood plan for an analysis and recommendations.

Why testing Estradiol + Progesterone are important:

  • As men age, their estradiol and progesterone levels can shift. These hormones play a role in bone maintenance, brain function, reproductive health, body composition, mood, and hormone balance.
  • Estradiol and progesterone levels change as women’s biology shifts throughout their lifespan, like during reproductive and menopausal years. Maintaining a balance between the two is protective against physical symptoms and disease risk down the road.

When in their cycle should women test these hormones?

Each time you retest with InsideTracker, try to get your blood drawn around the same date of the month. This will help to ensure the most consistent and accurate results as they relate to your menstrual cycle.

If you have an irregular cycle or are taking hormonal birth control, test at any point in your cycle.

If you are perimenopausal and looking to explain menopausal symptoms, test in the first half of your cycle. If you are premenopausal and looking to explain your reproductive health, test in the second half of your cycle.

Can men test these hormones?
